Feeling the chilly wind blow in your face as you ran as fast as you could down to the class of magical creatures, praying that you wouldn’t be late, since it was one of your favorite classes
Coming from a muggle family into this new world of magic with completely new kinds of animals was astonishing, but it did have its down falls, considered that with all these new things it was hard to ever get some popper rest or at least for you, mainly because the world had become so interesting, so many things and so little time to learn it all, meant staying up all night reading just for the pure liking of doing so, though it meant less sleep meaning a lot of the days of sleeping as long as possible and that meant missing breakfast a lot of the time.
As you kept running your classmates come to sight not so far down the hill, still on their way down to Hagrid’s class, as you couth up with them, you noticed a particular blonde guy kept looking at you, as the two of you made eye contact that lasted for less then a second you were sure that you had seen, the corner of his lips make a small turn upwards.
The thought of a guy like Draco Malfoy smiling at you were enough to heat up your cheeks as a bright rose color spread over them.
‘’y/n did you sleep through your alarm again??’’ a girl with bright oranges hairs asked you as concern filled her voice, ‘’yeaaah’’ you said was you rubbed the nap of your neck giving her a big grin as a soft laughter left your lips, ‘’you really need to take better care of yourself,’’ she answered giving you a stern but soft look, ‘’I am’’ you tried arguing knowing that you probably would lose in an augment against her anyway. The girl you considered a friend let out a feisty have laugh, ‘’are you? Well then how come you didn’t eat either breakfast, lunch or dinner yesterday, plus you didn’t eat anything this morning either’’ her voice was a tad bit loud that you were sure that at least 3 people had heard her, ‘’okay I see your point, I will try to take better care of myself, plus I will eat every meal with you from now on, deal’’ you respond in a unsure voice not knowing if it would make her worry less, ‘’well it’s a start’’ she answered as she flashed one of her dashing smiles.
Feeling the effects of your poor eating habits hit you right in the face, as your heart started to beat just a little faster and you became dizzy as it became difficult to focus on the class and what was being said about the spectacular creature that was in front of you.
You let out a small breath trying to keep on your feet, not wanting to make a scene in front for anyone, as you to raised your hand to gently rub your sore eyes, your feet gave up as you stumbled backwards, until you felt a pair of strong arms catch you right before you hit the ground.
As you looked up to see who’s arms it where that you had stumbled into, you were met with a pair of grey eyes that were already staring straight down at you, with an easy-going look to them and a slight smile on the corner of his lips, his blonde hair had fallen down his forehead, framing his face in a way that would take any girl or boys breath away. you could feel his warm breath on your lips, as the fresh scent of apple filled the air around you. Your breath hitched as you realized just who the person that had saved you from an unpleasant encounter with the ground was none other than Draco Malfoy himself.
Seeing him so close to you made your heart skip a beat, and your mind went as plank as a piece of untouched paper. quickly getting back on your feet and out of his arms was the only thing filling your head, as you tried to stand but failed miserably as you would have fallen if Malfoy didn’t grab your arm to help you stand on your own, ‘’easy you’re going to fall’’ he said in a sharp tone looking at you, his hand were cold even though it was in the middle of the summer, ’’I’m sorry and thank you, you know for catching me’’ you responded in almost a whisper as you looked down at the ground, ‘’well I couldn’t just let you fall’’ he replied in a voice as soft as a cats fur, as the words left his lips you felt a blush starting to creep up on your cheeks, ‘’I haven’t seen you in the dining hall in some time, you undoubtedly didn’t eat breakfast did you’’ he asked in a low voice, but did you just hear a hint of concern in his voice, or was your mind playing tricks with you, you went with the last one because why would he even care anyway, you shook you head telling him no.
He let out a loud sigh ‘’if you don’t mind you can have my apple, I didn’t eat from the other side’’ he says as he hands you his apple placing it in your hands and giving you a sweet smile, ‘’thank you’’ you replied surprised by his actions, he turned around to walk away as his voice echoed out ‘’make sure you go to the dining room in the future, I can’t have other guys going around and catching you’’ he chuckled out and with that he left.
As you looked down at the apple that had been handed to you, you just could help but to think maybe the handsome blonde guy wasn’t such a bad person after all.
