You know combining my love of dragons and undead can make interesting results
Wizard meets dragons -- including an early appearance of an undead dragon, two years before Dragotha showed up in the corner of the White Plume Mountain area map. This was page margin art from "D&D Variant: Dragon Magic" by Michael Benveniste, in Dragon magazine 15, June 1978.
That article expanded upon the rules for spell-casting dragons, presenting a dragon spell list that included many new dragon spells. One of my favorites is the first level spell Breath Charm:
Any pebble, coin, or small mineral object becomes a charm vs dragon breath by use of this spell. Any one object or person touching the charm is not affected by dragon's breath. The charm is destroyed by this breath. Duration: Until used or dispelled. Range: Physical contact is necessary.
A single-use total immunity from breath weapons is potentially powerful, but I would keep this as level 1 in order to allow multiple castings during an encounter with a friendly allied dragon willing to equip the party with a useful gift. It could be nerfed to provide only resistance, but I might use it exactly as written since obtaining one of these is likely to be a rare event.
Draconic, demonic possession.
DND OC - Trixi the Kobold
Introducing my first ever DND OC! Trixi, the rogue and warlock kobold with big dreams of becoming a dragon and a dracolich patron she mistakened for a real dragon. Her true name is Sunny but she hates being underestimated because of her name, now she calls herself Trixi so that others would take her seriously(still doesn't work). Despite her patron being a dracolich, she managed to befriend it through pure courage and seeing the good in everyone, she made her patron's heart start beating once again.
I made this for school but then I just used it as an excuse to finally draw my DND OC who has been on the shelf for quite some time now, striking 2 birds with one stone. :]
