would this be a dragon!matsu matchup? idk i was needing a little warm up so here we are!
@willoryn Dragon!Willo
With your castle/cave being covered inch by inch with candles, you wouldn’t have to worry about any lighting or the cold. Wax would be everywhere!
Assuming you can breath fire, lighting them all wouldn’t take too much time. It’d be a nice little routine for your day. Between the candles and the incense and oil diffusers, you definitely got a cocktail of all the different smells. It might be overwhelming to anyone not used to it, but at least you’d never have to worry about any other smells.
The warmth and light would attract dragon!Jyushimatsu, seeing how he’s a light dragon. Light dragons don’t do so well in the cold. Not really because of the weather, but mainly because there’s less sunlight around (usually). He’d be happy to help you light them, even though he cannot breathe fire. He can however produce light in the palm of his hands, which is extremely hot and can light a candle (if he’s careful not to melt the whole thing).
Luckily, Jyushimatsu is very adaptable when it comes to a lot of scents. Not only is his sense of smell not as strong as some of his brother’s but he also tends to be around more situations where multiple scents would be a bit more overwhelming (market places, around kids, his brother’s, exploring random places, just general public places, etc).
He’d feel right at home along with you, as long as the two of you would still spend some time outside.
You’d also attract a dragon!Osomatsu. The flames from the candles being the draw in. Fire dragon has gotta be near fire and warmth! Although he can breath fire, he’d be lazy about helping light them. He’s easy to convince to help though, little incentives and praises going a long way. He will totally show off his fire wielding skills while helping.
At first, his sense of smell would make it hard for him to stay long. His being in the mid range of sensitivity (Choro being the highest, next to Totty) So if you want him to stay, you’ll have to ease him in. Probably burning incense and the oil diffusers to a minimum. Once he gets used to things, it won't bother him anymore. He’d actually really appreciate it.
If you’re out and about, he’ll occasionally bury his nose in your neck to, not only rile you up, but to remind him of how home smells.
