Okay I know a trailer came out, I plan on spamming about it when I have time. It’s bad luck that it came out on Tumblr n/sfw ban protest day and then today and tomorrow I have work from 3-12. But trust me the spam (though it will be spaced out for reasons) will come sometime in the next day or two. Because I am utterly excited, utterly horrified and have opinions.

With the age thing, I wish people would realize that Nobodies DO age. Namine looks visibly older between CoM and her appearance in KH2. Not to mention Ienzo being killed as a child ( I assume? ) and growing up. Lea and Axel. It's especially annoying when shippers put Lea/Axel with pretty much any of the main characters because he would be AT LEAST 25.

Y’know to be honest, I have a hard time believing this is a raging debate.

The only thing I’ve seen of it is people telling me it is a thing and that they’re annoyed because Nobodies clearly age and one or two people who believe otherwise and those were people with really weird, non mainstream fandom theories in general.

Lol it feels like this blog is conflicted about Xion and it's actually kind of funny to watch

Wow, I’m on the fence about a character and tired of not being able to talk about said character without either getting an over defensive admirer of said character or a character hater on my ass. 

I am so tempted to hate Xion just because of the drama she stirs up and that goes against my policy of judging the character or thing on their own merits rather than other people’s opinions. Granted I’m not perfect but I try. 

I want to like her but people make it so hard to like her. 

Also you guys know you can like certain aspects of a character and hate others right? I don’t like how Xion fits into the story but looking at her character arc in an isolated manner (ie ignoring all the context surrounding it) it’s one of the better arcs in the series. 

I also get annoyed when people view Roxas as a passive element or try to make Xion more important than she already is. She’s the driving force of the Days plot people, you don’t need to go arguing that the end result of Roxas leaving wouldn’t have happened had they gone for an alternative story route. 

Everyone is overcompensating when it comes to Xion and it’s fucking annoying. 

And on a final note: this probably isn’t noticeable but I always add modifier words to my sentences. Probably, maybe, possibly, I think, stuff to try and make it obvious that there’s an opinion element….there are none of those in this entire ask. I am dead serious about this shit. Also just to be clear, nothing against you Anon. I have fucking opinions.

Sorry about the foreteller question....I agree with letting the all the characters stand and be on their own. I was just asking for fun.

Trust me there was no offense. I was trying really hard to make that come across in the phrasing but when it comes to that topic I guess my feelings are what they are.

Naw there’s one no in Kh I particularly relate to or identify with. Actually that doesn’t happen all that often. Most of the time if I like a character it’s because there’s something about them I admire or find interesting not that I identify with them. There’s one character I can think of I really identify with and I only realized I identified him I had like him for a while (he had traits I admire and was interesting).

Does anyone else ever think it’s kind of amazing that the Organization names are English anagrams? 

Cause it’s like to do that first the Japanese creators (who remember their first language is not English) had to come up with a name. (let’s use Axel as an example since I’m pretty sure Lea is an anagram of Axel in real life not the other way around like it is in-game) and if the name was meant to be a Nobody name then it would have to have an X in it when spelled in English, a letter that does not exist in Japanese (some combination of a k and s sound is usually used in it’s place) and barely used in English. 

After that they have to figure out the proper English spelling for it ( アクセル becomes Akuseru becomes Axel)  and then figure out how to rearrange the letters into something that at least remotely sounds like someone’s name (Axel becomes lea) keeping in mind what it’s going to sound like when you get it back into Japanese (Axel becomes lea not lee or at least in the Japanese dub it does), and then finally put it back into Katakana( lea becomes リア). 

Like honestly anagrams are hard enough when you stay in your own language this must have cause several people at square to develop massive headaches. Honestly this is probably the reason why half of the org doesn’t have official somebody names yet. 

Also probably at least partly the reason Ansem’s name was anagramed for Xemnas instead of Xehanort’s (I mean you can get No Heart and Another out of there but like...what Haxenxort, Xonahxert, Naoxhternx you get the idea they’re all super weird)

So the next time you think about how weird Kh names are...^^^^^^^^^^^^

Random middle of the night pop quiz

Name an Au that is specific to the KH fandom. Clarification: Do we have any AUs that are super specific to this fandom. Like not something that appears in other fandoms like coffee shop or college or I don't know pirate AU? I mean I can believe we do but it's like I'm an organization XIII person and like 80% of the fanfiction is main character based so yeah. For the record the reason I'm bringing this up is I've been mucking around in the Gf fandom and they have some really specific, interesting, AUs and since Kingdom Hearts is always taking up some portion of my mind I was trying to think of AUs like that that we have and all that was coming to mind was the Au where someone besides Axel survives castle oblivion and the Au where people have their hearts back (which I guess is no longer an Au). Like I know he have common headcanons and what not but like fully developed AUs?

Random Question

Is it just me or is Greed always the bad ass sin when the Japanese involved.  I mean I only know three instances of the 7 deadly sins being used in Japanese media (Unchained, 7 deadly sins anime, and Fma) and Greed is the most bad ass of them all. Or at least the one that gets a ton of character development/attention.
