I love him sooo muchhh.

I usually don't think angst of any characters at all.

But I think Arin has this "therapist" kinda guilty, like whenever Sora is down about something and he helps her out, but he knows it didn't solve any problems, so he would beat himself up for it.

And omg, after working with Ras, he felt so guilty about it that he would overwork himself to please Lloyd (who never asked for it) and would fall sick very often because of this.

I just think he is a bundle of stressball and he mostly gains his energy from interpersonal relationships, so when things don't work out with other people, it takes a huge tall on him.

(I also believe he has nightmares about his parents' tombstone)

I’m not asking for Zane to be what he is in the show, I’m asking for him yo not be character assassinated, he would never turn as absurdly vicious and cruel as he did in that scene, there are other ways to rile Kai up without both of them having worse writing and Zane having absolutely terrible writing.

This is ONE scene btw 😭. You don't even know what exactly is going on yet, this scene is given in an out of context structure so that at least a little curiosity can be build around them.

Also, this your take on the au that I am writing. So I hope yk that what I am writing is what I did after a lot of analysis. I want to give zane a different perspective than others.

Zane is clearly telling him what it is. What would he even gain from riling Kai up? Someone who already has anger issues? Like I said. You are judging Zane from one scene. Just let things happen.

Suggestion for Harumi: either a contact for the ninja in something undecided, a treasure hunter because she wanted to track dangerous artifacts to help protect the world like her heroes, or a mage because she had a lot more ambition and decided to become a mage like her heroes the Elemental Masters which would probably require a lot less worldbuilding than designing ancient civilizations.

Will add suggestions that might make sense with the story!
