Ah ! Wow um, first off. Happy belated birthday! I’m sorry I couldn’t get you a better birthday present but you’ve been in on this surprise since day one but I decided to keep your own post a secret from you so ! Here! Anyways, I know that we first met a really long time ago when we were both in the RWBY fandom. We didn’t exactly realize it until we started talking again years later. I was so excited to find you again and to be friends with you that I was a little surprised when you invited me to this skype chat. There were people there that I didn’t know, but they were people I wanted to know, so I dove in. I’m so glad I made that decision, like I don’t know where I’d be today if I fucking hadn’t, to be honest. I’d probably have a lot more cuts tbh and less awesome themes without you.  Weiss, I have had the emotional pain of watching you suffer through many things considering your gender, coming out to your family, your art, and more importantly your writing. Everytime I see you doubt yourself I cry a little on the inside. I want the world for you to be peaches and cream but of course that can’t happen when you’re a world away. I honestly wish I could pluck you out and take you shopping for clothes at my mall, cause we have some awesome stores here, and play old style video games with you, and go on poke adventures with you!

I just really want to see you happy. Weiss, you’ve done so much for the entire Swag Family and for each one of us individually. You’ve stopped us from hurting ourselves several times and have literally become friends with everyone in the group. 

Thank you for everything. Thank you for bringing us together. Thank you for making this group. Thank you for staying with us. We love you so much.

You know, I really want to talk about diurnarai. Drak is a super sweet person that's always happy to interact with new people, and she's SO in love with Izana, she'll tell me EVERYTHING about him at 2 am, or whenever she can. Drak's writing is so nice and amazing, and she always tries so hard to improve every time she gets the opportunity, and she's always trying her best with graphics! That and, Drak's the best big sister in the world, I love her a lot!!

             Eyes look away from her taking for a moment to see where he was before looking back at her again. He knew well enough that this was not his home. Heck, he may not even be in Mount Garou anymore leaving the questions as to what was he doing here and what happened to him.

In the chaos of the battlefield, Sakura couldn’t tell very much at all. Everywhere there was noise, movement, fighting. Her focus right now was getting to Kamui’s side. She hated admitting it, but she found herself overwhelmed sometimes while in combat, and her sister had offered to help her if things got to be too much. She tried to think of the things that her siblings had reminded her to do- limit sensory input, deep breaths- but all that was hard to do given that she had a staff in one hand and her other hand was secured on the strap of the quiver slung over her shoulder. 

Where was she? Where had her sister gone? The sounds were beginning to overwhelm her, the constant movement and pain too much to bear. 

She froze.

And the next thing she knew, she was lying in the mud, a warm weight atop her as the sickening thunk of a blade piercing flesh and a horrible snap of wood sounded in her ears, all the other sounds on the battlefield amplified. 

The Nohrian soldier advanced upon them, his blade raised for the killing blow. 

Time seemed to slow. Sakura gently pushed Kamui off her, drawing Hachiman and shooting the man down, one clean strike through the neck.

Please forgive me…

Immediately she turned back to Kamui, pink eyes wide with concern.

“N-Neesama, are you okay? Please, please be okay!”

Kamui’s eyes slowly opened, a pained smile on her face as she looked up at the shrine maiden.

“Heh… I can always count on you…”

It got quiet, Sakura administering an elixir to Kamui’s wound in her shoulder- it went deep, piercing through to her torso. 

“M-my staff broke! I-I need a new one, o-or another healer!” She locked eyes with Hinoka, not too far away, and immediately the eldest sister made her way towards them, Sakura standing and helping Kamui to stand, moving her uninjured arm over her shoulder to get her to safety faster.

A close call, and one she would hope to never have to repeat.
