It’s the start of the new year and I decided to do a project that I’ve had on my mind since may of last one. These two characters, Kaida && Ryder, are two of my favorite characters to write about, considering their dynamic, be it sometimes pushed to the side, really means a lot more when you look at the bigger picture.
This is them through the years, through their incarnations. A world devoured, a country scorned, and a modern fall.

hey, tumblr pst - I’m back baby. back with the original trio of characters that I made 10 + years ago. that’s right, I made these guys about some time ago, and I gotta say, I’ve fallen in love with them again considering the development of the series. Now, if only I could stop focusing on the modern tale and actually think about devoured world.

mini update. I’m back. Suffering because of health issues && working hard to keep up with things, which is why my art drive has officially died - but I’m alive. I also seemed to forget my log in to my commission discord - so apologies for anyone trying to reach me there. That said, I will be trying to get that account back soon after this week.
My work is also picking up in hours so ???? I uh. might vanish. since they are clocking me at 30 hours a week and I sometimes go in to cover.
BUT !!! but I may be getting closer to finally releasing a link to that encylopedia I was talking about && other stuff like 3D character commissions ( wow ‘bout time ) though I need a bit more practice as I am not using UV maps yet ( because they’re scary ).
but basically, the whole entire reason why I vanished and stopped accepting commissions is because my head wasn’t in the right place, had a medical emergency which is all taken care of now, getting a tooth ache which is a blast, and then work. lots and lots of work and training.
and, if you don’t know anything about me, once I get over worked my brain kinda... shuts off and I can’t handle even talking to folks, which, as you can tell, can be a bad thing. I’m still a bit wonky, but I’ll try to get everything handled soon. Just please understand I sometimes stick to personal projects to relieve stress !
Oh, I’ll be posting recent model updates soon !!! As I plan to start working on human models a bit more so I can figure out the hell that is rigging.

just another little test - though this one doesn’t move. I am still trying to figure out how I want beasts to look in the series. I ended up scrapping this design, mostly due to coming up with something a tad better internally right after making it ( that and the rig wasn’t working right = ~ = ).
just a little bit of a chill out model actually, I have animations of it but I scrapped them simply because my computer was crying. So, this is all I have for right now.
I finally made the jump to Cycles Render in Blender and rigged my first 3D model! This creature is a tiny one who lives within Limbo - a shadow beast that thrives on devouring the hopes of mortals.
the actual art fight doesn’t start until July 1st but -- Hey there followers, did you know about this rad Art Event that is going on where you take part in drawing a bunch of other people’s Original Characters to get points for your team? Neither did I until a few days ago! I decided to jump aboard and will be doing 3D low poly and Digital Illustrations of wonderful Original Characters and hope to get some attacks to defend.
I have a bunch more Original Characters I need to add onto my page yet ( as there is only two at the moment ) but, feel free to hit me up during the month of July on ARTFIGHT.NET
Any level of Artist is okay to join, all you need is an Original Character and a will to draw other rad ones! Late sign ups are also allowed so CHECK IT OUT.
