Letting Earth survive to see another day had its benefits. Namely, being able to enjoy its cuisine. When it came down to it, that was the only true worth left in these worlds. 

 Some of its denizens were just as interesting, though.

 His time with Bulma had raised some interesting questions, and since everything was exceptionally boring... pursuing them could prove to be a little fun.

To be honest, Trunks wasn’t aware he even had an uncle, let alone one that was still alive. But there he was, standing face to face with a member of his family that he never thought he’d meet. His eyes would shift momentarily from Tarble’s face, to the saiyan’s tail before returning his attention back to his face, “Sorry, I know me coming to talk to you like this is rather sudden... It’s just that I never knew that Father had a younger brother until recently.”

He’d pause, scratching the back of his head, he didn’t want to overwhelm the other with the building amount of questions he had in his head, deciding that taking it slow would be for the best currently.

“There’s probably plenty of questions on your mind, so it’s probably best if you ask me anything you’re curious about and I’ll give you an answer to the best of my ability.”

In a stunning display of what is absolutely a controlled response and not a complete surprise, he emits a rather undignified noise--somewhere between a strangled goose and a squeak--before leaping up...

...and landing on a chair across the room, perched on the back of it like a terrified cat.

It takes him a moment or two to process exactly what happened and who did it, and when it hits him that it’s West--of all people--that has so deeply betrayed him, he gasps, absolutely stunned.

        Salza gives a soft laugh, not used to expressing himself in such ways as he has around Jeice. It was rather clear, though-- Jeice wasn’t used to hearing such things, either. All the more had it made it easy for Salza to seem less awkward with his words, though to others, it may have been more obvious how... Clumsy he was.
