Draken is over 6'1", so his physical presence is imposing. When you walk down the street together, he always places you on the sidewalk and puts an arm around your shoulders. He loves to completely envelop you to make you feel safe.

His braid is sacred, but with you, it's different. He lets you undo his hairstyle at the end of the day. He finds it incredibly relaxing when you brush his hair or give him a scalp massage while he tells you about his day at the motorcycle shop.

Because of the height difference (if you're shorter), his favorite displays of affection are tender kisses on the forehead, the crown of the head, or the temples (right above his dragon tattoo). He's not one to be overly affectionate in public, but in private, he's incredibly loving.

Many afternoons will be spent sitting on a stool in the workshop while he works with his hands covered in grease. He'll lend you one of his old shirts so you don't get dirty and will make sure you're okay. Your favorite snacks are nearby. He loves hearing your voice in the background while he works on an engine.

Draken is the adult of the group, and that protective instinct is doubled with you. If he notices you're cold, he'll give you his ToMan jacket without you even asking. If you're sick, he'll show up at your house with medicine and a hot, home-cooked meal he made himself.

Riding with Draken on his motorcycle is synonymous with safety. He rides with a steady hand, making sure you hold on tight to his waist. He likes to take you to quiet viewpoints outside of town to escape the gang noise.

On the ToMan, Draken is an imposing figure who commands respect. However, when you're around, the gang members become twice as serious. He'll never tolerate you getting involved in the dangerous world of fighting; he'll keep you firmly out of it to ensure your peace of mind.

Draken doesn't mince words. If something bothers or worries him, he'll tell you directly, but in a gentle voice. He's incredibly mature for his age; he prefers to sit down and talk things through before a misunderstanding escalates into an argument.

He grew up in the noisy and complex environment of the red-light district, so a stable and peaceful relationship with you is his true home. When he's exhausted from taking care of Mikey and dealing with ToMan's problems, he'll simply want to lie down next to you in silence, holding you tight as if you were his anchor in the world.

When will the next chapter of Ameliorate be released?

I've just continued working on it last night. I'm finally on summer holidays, but am still continuing a research project from college so the schedule gets tight sometimes.

Though, because I knew I'd be able to write a lot more in June, I've spent the free time I had in the past few weeks rereading most of the manga and my fanfic too (to refresh myself of all the cues) and now that it's done, we're in action!

So yeah, you can expect a chapter by tomorrow night!
