Late to this #howardalumni party @thisisusnbc with my fellow #dramamajor @susankelechiwatson @realphyliciarashad but #betterlatethannever with @carllumbly as her father the casting is perfect!! Episode 13 of Season 3 "Our Little Island Girl" WELL written by @freboni09 Love how this show puts personal things in the script that relate to the cast like the time Randall visited @howard1867 and now Susan's Caribbean heritage... https://www.instagram.com/p/BvdRodKgD3n/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=14w9f18kurunl

Amy Shehan ’17, an English and drama major, studied at Victoria University of Wellington during fall 2015. She found that these two photos best represent her time abroad.
The first photo was taken of me on the Skyline Walkway in Wellington, New Zealand. The rolling hills in the photograph were characteristic of the landscape I experienced on New Zealand's North Island, and I feel especially akin to these hills as they surrounded my host city. This photo represents the sense of adventure I experienced in my time abroad. When I posted it to Facebook, I captioned it with my favorite Lord of the Rings quote: "It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."
The second photo was taken on New Zealand's South Island, a few miles outside of Queenstown. My friends and I were on our winter break adventure, driving to our campground for that evening, and we began to notice sheep trickling down the hill to our left. In no time at all, the trickle became a torrent, and we were surrounded by a herd of sheep who clearly had no intention of moving for our car. We were eventually rescued from our stasis by an unfazed shepherd and his sheepdog. It was the most whimsical, delightful traffic jam I have ever experienced.
