Picked up a project boat. A 1981 Drascombe Scaffie. A little worse for wear but the trailer, hull, mast, rudder and sail is sound. What more could you ask for. The seller had a beautiful Drascombe Lugger in his backyard next to a SeaPearl28 and several other project boats. Lucky Man. Both the buyer and seller. More to follow…

The Scaffie was designed in 1978 by Drascombe’s John Watkinson. The fiberglass 14’ 9” double ender, now produced in the UK by Honnor Marine

Our 40 year old Drascombe Scaffie “Mon Nèg” is now in the OGA boat registry as number 3600. A very young boat compared to some of the great OGA boats.
