I always liked the ghost zone. I’ve been thinking where the hotel could be located. I think it could be in a dimension out of time and space. Maybe people in the past used magic to cast a spell. To the eyes of the enemies they recovered full health but instead they went to a place to rest up and then get back into battle. If they are out of time and space, well, the moment they leave is the same moment they return. Nothing change and they are just ready. 

Maybe now people have a more sientific method to get there but the whole point it that is an eternity. No sunrise or sundown since there is no sun. Maybe even someone that happen to pass by and shines a lot. 

The idea of a nice and comfy place in the middle of limbo sounds pretty nice. Maybe they are able to add more islands or just use the other side of the disks?
