How to Draw Basic Car

exploring some shape designs for a ship! I love the ideation process.....then I gotta get into the technical perspective work....AND THEN I GET TO COLOR IT!
I have to say, I've always been a bit scared to draw machines. Perhaps scared isn’t the word, but I've never felt comfortable doing it, but it was something my portfolio lacked and I felt my skills lacked, so I drew some concepts, and then buckled down and studied. I grabbed my How to Draw book by Scott Robertson, my History of Automobiles book, researched the history of flight, and even tried to study some old user manuals for cars I had lying around.(Hayao Miyazaki mentions in his Autobiography how important it is to understand everything you can about whatever it is you’re animating) I may not understand combustion to it’s fullest- no doubt I'd need a good teacher for that, but I’m getting a little closer to designing a vehicle after trying to understand how it works.
Lest we not forget Form follows function. XD
Today I didn’t draw a face, I drew a Coffee truck for @SketchbookSkool's Draw This photo challenge #digitalart #procreate #drawing I know, it's not a face. It's a coffee truck for a Sketchbook Skool "Draw This!" photo challenge.
