Here are my final pieces I did for Graphic Design in college, My theme was faith and beliefs.

The idea behind these three illustrations was to represent famous angels in a darker, more sinful light. I did a bunch of research into the angels and what they stood for. the illustrations are supposed to convey how no one is free from ‘sin’ and how it is impossible to live a truly pure life by showing that even the angels are not perfect.

I realise how edgy and pretentious this looks and sounds, but honestly I just wanted an excuse to draw pretty angels doing terrible things, also neon lights are such a good aesthetic.

I really enjoyed doing these, especially because i got to experiment with different techniques.

the angels and people are drawn with pen and ink then scanned in, the backgrounds are done digitally. If you know Manchester really well, you  may know the places.
