So, this is probably the longest process piece I’ve ever posted and this isn’t even the first part. A Drawn to Life group I’m in on deviantART has had a contest going on, and I wanted to wait to submit my long process for this until I got the final piece up and posted. This is covering the process for the map. I was styling it after the map style in the first Drawn to Life as I felt I’d be able to show off the buildings more. I was specifically focusing on a gothic architecture style, which I referenced a lot in various forms in the drawing stage for the map. The second part for the map will go over the coloring. I forgot I had this in my photo gallery. This is of Rikki from a Drawn to Life story I’m working on. When I was rereading it, it occurred to me that I described Rikki’s outfit as blue, like his original version before I updated it. So I decided to draw this to indicate when his outfit changes though I forgot to post it.
