How does your muse adjust to others that are taller or shorter to them?

All depends.

Lupin’s typically drawn to women shorter than him, but height has never really mattered when you’re simply a stranger. To get detailed about this, let’s break it down in categories: Lovers, Friends & Family, Strangers, and Enemies.

Lovers: He prefers to be the taller one. Seeing as he typically leans more towards women, he wants his girls to be at least a little shorter than him. An inch shorter sounds great, but a few is even better! If, by some chance, he’s in a relationship with another male, Lupin still prefers to be taller, but will settle for being a bit shorter, too. He’ll definitely pick on you for your height, regardless if you’re exceptionally taller or shorter, however, usually with cute pet names or nicknames.

Friends & Family: Lupin could care less if you’re taller than him as a friend or family member. You are who you are, in this case. He might crack jokes about your height if you happen to be taller or shorter than him to some extreme (such has being a foot shorter than him), but it’s usually all in good fun to get a rise out of you.

Strangers: He hardly pays any mind to your height when you’re a stranger. It’s only when you’ve become some sort of acquaintance that he might make a mention of it.

Enemies: Oh, if you’re way taller or shorter than Lupin, you can bet your ass he’s using it as an insult! He tries to piss his enemies off anyway he can. So be prepared to have crude jokes related to your height thrown at you!

The long and short of it: He really doesn’t care much about height differences unless they’re extreme, and even then, it depends on who you are to him as to how he deals with it. With lovers, he’ll stoop down to your height to try and kiss you. With friends, he’ll prank you with jokes that remind you that you’re a skyscraper or an ant. Enemies, you’re getting rude jokes about your looks altogether.

    “And I hate to break it to ya, sweetcakes, but your words just can’t stop me!”  Lupin snickered, hands slipping into his pockets.

His forward-slouched posture accompanied by his raised and tensed shoulders implied his fiery passion, his face sporting determined brows and a big grin. It was almost intimidating how he sauntered forward, his bowed legs stepping closer and closer to her.

Then, he got real close, reached past her, and slapped down a bill on the counter. He was absolutely paying for her sea salt ice cream she’d just ordered, and she couldn’t stop him!  “And I’ll have Neapolitan!”

Dear Diary

   ♚ ⇀ Sᴇɴᴅ “Dᴇᴀʀ Dɪᴀʀʏ” ғᴏʀ ᴀɴ ᴇɴᴛʀʏ ғʀᴏᴍ ʜᴇʀ ᴅɪᴀʀʏ

Hello again, dear friend.

                  It has been quite some time since I wrote in here, has it not ??                   So much has happened that I am uncertain how to exactly go                   about writing it. 

                  I have tried tirelessly for the past week (?)  to find a way out of                   this dark cavern to no avail. I couldn’t believe it was so, that we                   would find ourselves sealed away. I had promised HIM I would                   meet him at sunrise, I was going to finally confess to him and                   hoped he felt the same. That seems like such a trivial concern                   now. 

                  How long have we truly been trapped down here ?? I can no                   longer tell the days from the nights. It is SUFFOCATING. And                   my people... they all seemed to have lost hope, anger                   developing not only towards humans but the other monster                   races for getting us involved. I keep hearing of why this was the                   reason we stayed clear of humans, and now we have to suffer                   for the other’s foolishness. 

                           I could never tell them of our relationship now.

                  Perhaps... it is best I never got to share with you my true                   feelings, so that you will hopefully not ache the same way I will.                   I fear I will not be able to escape the hell the humans have                  thrown us into and I must stop being selfish trying to return to                  your arms once more. My people need me to be here for them. 

                 I just hope that you will be happy and find love again. I miss you                  and will always love you.
