“To Mrs. Harker...” He said aloud tapping his quill into the table with a troubled expression. This was always the hardest part. Though it didn’t stop his quill for long as he began writing, moments passing by before his mouth followed the words again. “I am empowered by Lord Goldalming... Miss Westenra’s letters...“ Stopping again he looked frustrated. He would be meeting this woman soon, the wife of his friend and now partner. Surely he’d already explained much of this, no perhaps he hadn’t. Jonathan was always rather reserved, and it would be expected of such a man to protect his wife’s fears. Hence why the weight rested in his quill. Another ten minutes passed by before he was finishing his letter. He’d be meeting her tomorrow or perhaps the day after, she’d be there to confirm any and all of the information that he had found.
Not even Abraham Van Helsing was prepared for the events following after. The brilliant, the strong, wise, quick, Churches Favorite Van Helsing. As these dreams grow more and more muddled the farther it remembers. Other than the feelings that came with the spilled paint images.

Missing Nine Finale
I choose to believe that just like Bong Hee's hypnosis dreams with everyone in the island wearing white at the beginning, the ending was all in Joon Oh's mind. I think reality ended with the car crashed and Joon Oh banged his head. The last conscious thing he saw was Tae Ho choking the Vice bastard and he wished he could stop it before he passed out from the bang to the head. After that everything happened in his mind. It doesn't make sense that after so many chances to listen to Joon Ho and give up, this was the time he would cave in. But it could happen if it was Joon Ho's fantasy for his "friend" to listen and repent. Tae Ho's behaviour isn't his own, even when he gets desperate, there is a ruthlessness to him, that makes him keep coming up with a way out, he spiraled out a long time ago, making bad choices and rationalizing tho the point that he went from a scared rat to someone who is enjoying the game and has no scruples left... BUT in Joon Oh's mind he is just a friend who made one mistake and went off the rails afterward because he was terrified and miserable and alone all he needs to be a good guy again is a friend to help him.
It would also explain the very minimal trial scene afterwards AND that whole psychedelic ending with the painting... there is no way after all the murders he was guilty of, Tae Ho would ever be released so soon (everybody looks the same), no way Soo Hee's prosecutor brother or ALL the survivors would ever forgive Tae Ho. Not everyone is a loyal blind idiot like Joon Oh, but if it were his fantasy, of course everyone would get along. It would also explain how weird everyone was acting, especially Bong Hee's mother (she kind of treated him coldly, so he wanted to imagine her being silly) and the Special Investigation woman's aid. He had no reason to be there, but it happens all the time in dreams for some random person you know in real life to pop up next to you without a reason. And it also explains the almost kiss... he wanted to kiss her but since he hasn't yet in reality, his brain doesn't allow him to dream about it and changes right before it happens (dreams are frustrating like this). Also, since Joon Oh has no idea what happened to Chanyeol, they mention that they are still searching, because it's something that will always be on the back of his mind until they find him or his body and give Joon Oh's closure.
So I guess I'll go with the ending that has a comatose Joon Ho, who will eventually wake up and Tae Ho was caught red handed by the cops choking the Vice bastard and everything falls apart from there with an internal investigation of the prosecution (helped by the Special Invest. Woman as revenge) and their ignored statements and real evidence are grounds for a retrial with new prosecutors, with Tae Ho as the culprit and the others as witnesses for the accusation. And our puppy lovers will finally kiss and marry and be silly together forever.
*I...I can’t believe it was only a dream.
