If you ever have to say the truth

Living in a Republican America is not fun anymore. People are consistently mean spirited and get mad over the most basic things. Hell reading a novel could be construed as being a BAD human! Playing video games could be called adding to the problem.

I was called a Snowflake for READING a book! For walking to the library for playing music that is a shock, JAPANESE! Being into Anime, Star Wars, science fiction, and fantasy all these make me somehow a Snowflake. When I chose to just say, "Screw this, I am reading, LEAVE ME ALONE!" I am a Snowflake.

I learned Japanese, Chinese and American Sign Language because guess what I was filling the idea of a need. I am not sure now why I even bothered to learn those languages because I get met with, "ENGLISH ONLY!" And watching as a polite Spanish speaker is suddenly treated like they don't belong when her family must have come here in the 1970s. You can tell between people who came here legally who still are having problems with the language English and the persons who aren't supposed to be here. She did not expect people to speak Spanish, she does put forth effort. All the while I mentally am screaming in Japanese!

All the lessons I learned in manners go out the window when people talk to each other. I read novels about places and pray I get this escapism from America. I want to run from these assholes who scream, "Trump 2020," and then see me turn around and head to a bookstore or a comic convention praying that I can escape. And I am not alone in my desire too, I watch Anime, Sci-fi fans all doing the same and we all mentally whisper, "Go away, leave Trump at the door, let us escape!"

There it is the vent of the desperate Anime, Star Wars, Sci-fi and fantasy nerd!
