A trait of Drew’s that Brent has always admired was how generous she can be, and how she was able to show love and appreciation for those who mattered to her. Every holiday, special days and anniversaries she would manage to surprise a man who once thought nothing could surprise him. In fact it was his wife who made him love surprises once again.

Even now, he was grinning ear to ear and reaching for the bag as though he was a child who got a new toy. The watch was exquisite, with dark leather and a sleek design that was akin to the things Brent likes. He placed it on and turned his wrist to show her.

“Thank you so much! I really love it, it’s perfect for me,” he spoke after pulling her close and kissing her on the cheek as a playful thought entered his mind. “I want to know if you got anything else. Do a little fashion show for me?”

Isabelle allowed him to pull her close to his side. She had asked, after all, what he was thinking. It appeared he intended to tell her just that.

Her cheeks flushed as he whispered in her ear, feeling his lips against her just enough to leave her craving more. Isabelle’s arm wrapped around his waist as she pulled him closer, a small mischievous smile on her lips as she did so. “Well, we can change that...”

The First Move

She smirked at her boldness they had been skirting around this for a little while and since Delia had made the first move… Hedone pulled the succubus to her pressing her lips against those perfect pouty tongue sweeping into her mouth tasting the lust that lingered beneath her throbbing veins it was almost as much as the woman in question, hands stroking her thighs Hedone stopped before she things that would cause her to float “Next time don’t wait so long.” The goddess whispered nipping her lip with a grin.

Delia laughed in delight, feeling the after-effect of the kiss as though her body was buzzing. Kissing Hedone was like taking a sip of champagne, leaving her intoxicated, bubbly, and wanting more. She was classy and refined, unlike any woman she got close to before and knew that even though this was most likely going to be a casual comeuppance, she would be delighted in every sense. 

She followed Hedone to a more secluded spot after that party and asked something relatively simple, “lovely goddess, do you want to go get some milkshakes together? I know this diner that is open even at this late hour. I just don’t want the night to end so soon darling, you know?”

           At the sight of his wallet, he grabs it from her though he doesn’t express his gratitude, only tilting his chin up in acknowledgement. He’s about to go on his way when something about her strikes him as familiar. “Hey, I know you. I sold you something, didn’t I?”

Ulysses in Ogygia

His eyes were the colour of sunflower yellow and strange, his skin…the skin was grey like someone had made him from watercolours and had decided to test the way he would look if they had done it. The unknown man looked confused as though he was not sure why he was here like most people who ended up in Ogygia.

“My name is Calypso you are on the island of Ogygia. Do you remember anything?” It was the question that she always asked, no one landed on her island by accident and when they left it just meant another stab in the heart for her. Instead of dwelling on the future Calypso hesitated before brushing a cloth against his forehead wondering just what had happened to him and why he looked so peculiar.

He remembered it all. He remembered too much, because the flashes of betrayal, the sheer gall of his brother when he was cursed was causing Ulysses to be inflamed with anger. Remembering things was causing him pain so he did not say anything for a moment. However he needed to, or else the girl would be suspicious of him. 

What should he tell her though? She won’t believe him that he is a merman, that he was royalty. He looked more like a monster than anything with his purple skin and powdery white hair, but somehow his lower half was transformed into legs. A human but not really. His curse was that he was neither here nor there. He was in land, so perhaps that was the reason behind this transformation.

“My name is Ulysses,” he began and looked over at her. He remembered now, land creatures can look beautiful. “Ogygia, I haven’t heard of this land before.”
