Yesterday morning’s reading session.
I choose not to think of it as day-drinking, but rather as interactive literacy.
I’m going to be working non-stop tomorrow through Monday on my final papers of grad school, so I’m procrastinating taking a deep breath tonight before the weekend from hell.
Help me out and talk to me?
Hey, since I’m procrastinating the everloving hell out of grad school, and this is probably my last chance to do that for the next 3 weeks, does anyone want to talk to me?
I’m accepting questions, debates, solicitations for advice, random facts, movie recommendations, continuations of past conversations, and monetary donations. Hit me up.
I will never be drunk enough for this debate.
But with God as my witness, I will try.
I’m watching 50 Shades of Gray, and I am NOT drunk enough.
This movie is artistically and morally detestable; why can’t I stop watching?
Fun fact: I’m pretty sure tonight is the first time ever that I’ve spoken to a complete, random stranger at a bar.
It just occurred to me that, of all the things that I could imagine happening to me that would merit alcohol, it didn’t even occur to me to list entering and/or leaving a relationship. (For the record, I think it would count as a qualifying event. We’ll get there if we get there, though.)
It’s not like it’s likely to come up, given my track record, but it’s sort of funny how deeply I assume I’ll always be single.
I know it sounds terrible, but it's actually almost as good as the name is obvious: Dr. Peppermint (Schnapps).
