Saturday slackers

The day is dim and drizzly and the bike hasn’t budged since last Saturday for one reason or another. And it’s not going anywhere in a hurry this morning either, given that the clock is racing towards midday and I haven’t long been awake. A walk and weights workout will be de rigeur.

It is time to cease these late nights and late mornings. (In fact they have become only mornings.) clubathletica just came in, sat on the edge of my bed and expressed the same sentiment. “We must have a cut-off point”. We must! Especially as she has to start training for the uni games.

With the first week of June almost gone, the time to publicly state my goals and kick my butt into gear is overdue.
