Dr. McNinja is over. I’ve been reading this webcomic for ten, eleven years now, ever since high school. It was the adventures of a doctor who is also a ninja, and his office was always open to anyone who needed the services of either.
It was a huge part of my growing up and stuck with me all this time. Hell, it’s one of the few webcomics I actually still read.
Chris Hastings and everyone who worked on the comic, thank you. The ride has been crazy and great and I’m so glad I found it. It helped me through tough times and kept me laughing all these years.

Did you know it's hard to be rad and still fly? There's something not-quite-rad about doing stunts if you can fly -- possibly because it takes out all the danger, possibly because it's less relatable to mortals. In order to become rad (something usually only possessed by humanity in the 90's) the Rad Fairy had to cripple her wings to the point where they'd barely be usable to glide.
She fell into a vat of toxic chemicals while trying to do skating tricks along the guard rails. Being a fairy, instead of developing a number of fatal diseases she mutated.
Into a Fairysaurus Rex.
Also became a cyborg.
With a rocket shark.
She currently lives in the post-apocalyptic Radical Lands. She ate the Dame Dudical of Diamonds and the last King Radical (the prior one having time warped away) and her rule has generally been considered an improvement.

If you ever read the webcomic Dr. McNinja, you'd learn that in his world there is a "true Mountain Dew" which the common stuff pales to in comparison. You'd also learn that there's a real disease called Maple Syrup Urine Disease in which the patient's ear wax and urine smells sweet, like maple syrup.
This isn't Dr. McNinja's world though; Mountain Dew as delivered by the fairy is closer to the slang of its namesake and is fairy moonshine.
Made from distilled urine. Of fairies with Mountain Dew Urine Disorder who drink a lot of Irish Whiskey (made by the Irish Whiskey Fairy, using the recipe that also has unicorn urine in it). Look, it's like that coffee made from cherries that have already been through the civet's digestive tract with the primary difference being that the fairies involved in its process at least gave consent and aren't trapped in cages and fed nothing but coffee cherries. I can't believe I'm spending the time talking about the ethical considerations for a piss joke, and I actually like Mountain Dew.
