Who: Ted Tonks, Andromeda Black, & Others When: Saturday, March 11th, 1978. After the Quidditch Match. Where: The Quidditch Pitch.
With the incredible victory on the pitch earlier, one might have thought Ted Tonks would have rushed a shower, tossed all of his soaking wet equipment into his locker and sprinted back to the castle in order to celebrate with his fellow housemates. While he was excited to head back to the common room for the party that would no doubt take place, it would have to wait as Ted had other things on his mind. instead, he made sure to take an extra long shower, clean his gear, polish his broom and stack everything neatly inside his locker. By the time he was finished, he was alone, and with one last glance to make sure of that fact, Ted slipped out the door and headed back toward the pitch.
It was still raining, but he didn’t mind, he would be out of it soon enough and a walk in the rain was a small price to pay. As he approached the stands, Ted walked the perimeter of the pitch, his hand running along the relatively dull colors of the professors’ section until he found the seam in the fabric he was looking for. Ted eagerly ducked under a low beam and lit his wand, grinning when the light illuminated her features. “Sorry for the wait.” Ted apologized in hushed tones, his grin and excitement making it difficult to whisper. “I had to make sure the coast was clear.”
