Bean there, done that: La Amistad
A little souvenir from Norway, and a pleasant reunion with one of my favourite Colombians.
Brewing method: Hario V60
Ratio coffee/water: 25,5/425 (grams
Extraction time: 3 minutes
Initially full body and rich flavours of peaches, milk chocolate and cherries. This fades into a smooth finish with a light, delicate body and a tantalizing acidity. The mouthfeel is syrup-like, but leaves a surprisingly clean palette when swallowed. La Amistad means "Friendship", and I think this fits the flavour profile well. This is absolutely a "comfort-coffee"; it presents with an easily approachable taste experience, yet with enough nuance to make it intriguing. A safe bet and a lovely coffee.
