Drone Control: let’s do one of these for old times sake to end the year on, specifically one by logo! Lets get out the batteries in a blanket and extra special oil aged to perfection.
Episode One: Corporate Deal; her rail gun not working changes the pacing and she has to adapt a bunch of tech into a weapon, for a reference of the look….
This is what she is roughly rocking, though it’s connected to her via a usb, and a usb line is on the barrel area, and the barrel has a usb connecter coming out of the barrel, awaiting to be shot, events roughly follow canon but with J being…a bit of aloof then usual and out of it after her admins changed, at first she seems worried for company reasons…though subconsciously seemingly more reasons.
V and N do managed to get damaged by a broken version of the gun (the regen of the dd made it basically single use for it’s original purpose, so now it’s effectively a long range taser), N getting more damaged from it as it strikes him riiight where a drone would originally be hit for full decommissioning
Episode 2: Restructuring Business; Plays out similarly, but eldritch J area is now…occupied by a Eldritch N, different design due to how he was permanently damaged, he looks absolutely feral and it seems like solver said “fuck it” and ramped his protectiveness back up and then floored it past that, extremely territorially, it’s less “solver is controlling him” and more “solver is still holding the leash and just made him more monstrous”, which leads to some interesting moments between J and uzi
Episode 3: Prom-ises; familiar ground retreaded as V tries to understand why J wouldn’t just undo the admin switch, why she’s protecting this little “toaster”, throwing the nickname she used at her and…J snaps back “SHE’S NOT JUST A TOASTER” though the moment flickers to a memory of the past, overlapping a memory of them in their manor days, “SHE’S NOT JUST ANY HUMAN”
V stares for a long moment at J….”you…you got attached…you managed to do that…”
V can’t believe it, she feels…conflicted
On one hand, why does she get to be attached?!
On the other, if solver wins, J may get the same treatment she would, and be forced to be with a squad mate you loved
V doesn’t manage to break out the chains (J knows V very well, she made sure the chains were attached) but J does offer her a hand.
J: I know it’s bleak but…I want to give this underdog a chance, so…you can come along
The rest of the episode continues pretty much similar to expected, just with a bit more Juzi/brandedgun vibe to it, as for J’s prom outfit….it’s similar to tessa’s but parts of it are restitched together and elongated via golden fabric
Episode 4: Sick Leave; J and V manage the camp in their own outfits, while uzi does her whole thing, shenanigans still ensue, though the banter is a little different now
J: you know why she is like this, don’t forget how you were last month after you tried to be nicer and follow N’s idea for oil from previously dead drones
V: *rolls her eyes but looks defeated as J goes up to comfort Uzi*
Uzi: Never mind, Don’t look, Im all gross and weird and stuff!
J:*moves the wings* hey…take it easy, I’ll guide you through this…like I did with others, I can help you get through this, just gotta manage yourself, don’t overthink it, that also can stress you out.
J moves the mouth of the little tail creature and makes whale noises, comforting uzi
Episode 5: The House that Wasn’t a home;
J gets to be the one to uncover memories, leading to a different result, but when it gets to the part with tessa…
Darkxwolf17(uzi): hey wait a minute….this looks…spliced over
After a bit, they find out what happened in this verse, J hesitated as hard and as long as she could so tessa could get out of the way of each swing
Annoying the solver of course.
But also getting a glimpse of what may have actually happened to tessa.
Episode 6: Closing Envelope; N’s back but he’s a bit more…stand offish
V’s a bit confused until he says something
N: don’t think I don’t remember how you treated me
This N clone after the last one’s death?
Memories are all there, anger and protectiveness cranked up manually, and solver trickery used to help make him think he still can protect tessa by staying by this side.
J is of course shown by “tessa”(she knows it is not her) that what the solver did, she rolls her eyes and says “im not losing someone again, which you seem to misinterpret”, a glare that could kill stares into that abyss of astronaut helmet.
J and uzi get into the canon typical shenanigans, all except until the point she’s in the caves with Uzi
J swiftly joins uzi’s side
J: hey, hey im here, it’s gonna be okay
“Tessa”: cmon Jaybird, you know what ya gotta do
J:…stop using her voice. I’ll send you a exit email.
She is with uzi as the rocks fall
“Tessa”: bugger…I was banking on that working
They do find the real tessa, transferring her over to a actual drone body is a hassle but one they must do, leading to the scene I mentioned of J needing to eat from uzi’s oil and them getting a moment of rest before the next big event
Episode 7: Exit clause; J, Uzi, And the real tessa squabble around with semi-canon scenarios with nori involved, tessa gets to replace N running around for a bit with nori, eventually being traded over to J, and then the usual scenes play out
Episode 8: Self-Termination Letter; the finale of course as usual, V and N being the ones fighting instead of V and J
V: We were supposed to fly away together N, why are you doing this, we can all attack it, we can all get away!
N: SO I CAN PROTECT YOU WHEN I COULDNT BEFORE!
Tears welling up in his visor as he attacks
N: let me do this, let me win so we can be a team again, a new deal was made, you will be allowed to be close, it can be like old times, it can be better than that and we don’t have to be silently coping with this new existence, and tessa can rest.
N: Please V, I don’t want to lose you again like I lost you once before
V grabs his hand for a second and then does her line of saying “bite me!” With it being
V: I am ensuring we don’t have to do that ever again, Bite me.
Most part follows canon for the final battle
N actually gets found by the new drone tessa.
N:…heh….it tricked me too huh?
Tessa: on ya feet mate, it did
She says as she pulls him up

Ep 1 - I love that design, and it feels right for Uzi to use. The slow creep of reasons to worry is very nice, and fitting. Alas for N, he's going to have the rough of it with the hit.
Ep 2 - Double Eldritch Danger time for a lot of fun and destruction. Especially with J having a little bit of herself remaining to work with Uzi.
Ep 3 - Like the subtle tension here, with J being in moderate denial and preventing V from getting free, but then bringing her along as well. I would almost think J would have gone the suit route for Prom.
Ep 4 - I like that J is trying to help Uzi with the corruption that is spreading through her, and guide her along with her first drinking.
Ep 5 - Yeah, the new point of view for the memories would be a good point to give additional flavor to the AU. Kinda see Uzi maybe making a note that J seemed... wait... for a human? . . . okay yeah she's decent... I guess...
Ep 6 - That's a very good building tension leading into the penultimate and final episodes. I like that N is different because of Solver. Yeah, the three need a talk. A long and lengthy in depth talk.
Ep 7 - Fun times had by all. I assure you. V still gets Sparky.
Ep 8 - I love that N is able to see the error of his ways, and that even V was almost able to get through to him here, but then gives up and just gets it done. Tessa hauling him up is a winning point for me.
