WIP Wednesday
I know I missed last week's WIP Wednesday post due to some computer issues, so I wanted to spend some extra time on today's post to show what I've got on my needles.
First up is this week's sock! After a month of sock knitting, I decided to do a simple pattern. This is a basic stockinette sock knit with Patons Kroy Socks Midnight Orchid. I like the way the colors are working up way more than I thought I would, and it's a nice palette cleanser after the lace socks I've been working on!
And while it's been a few weeks, I've got an update on my Forest Gem Sweater. The back panel is finished! I frogged the front panel and reknit it. I didn't like the way that it was shaped and knew that it wasn't quite right. This is a vest for me, and I wanted to ensure that it was something I would wear. I wasn't happy with the way that it was turning out, and if I'm not happy with it, I'm not going to reach for it.
