Hi everyone, I’ve been pretty inactive over here lately, but I would like to give everyone a heads up that I’m requesting the removal of my piece from the LGBTDuckZine, due to mistreatment of contributors, abuse and antiblack behavior, and a failure to donate the funds raised to The Trevor Probect as promised, all by the organizer of the zine. If you purchased the zine, I encourage you to please consider donating, if you have the funds, to either The Trevor Project or another fund in need, such as the Homeless Black Trans Women Fund, and please continue to support the contributors who are pulling out, we all worked so hard on this and wish things had been better. Let me get this straight, 

There is nearly 10 thousand dollars missing and possibly misappropriated, and y'all are bitching about someone being racist and mean to your clique, and that they gave you spoilers that made you think Astroboyd was going to be scary? 

Heres a tip, being racist and an asshole isnt illegal, but a misappropriation of that amount sure as hell is.

It’s all just Riss being Riss. Nothing’s changed. She got caught, called out on Tumblr, and ran away to Twitter and private Discord groups, and now she’s here trying to take her kingdom of hate back by taking out Lechepop - an artist who was formerly her friend and ally, but has now become her enemy because of Riss’s petty jealousy. I bet she thought all her Christmases had come at once when this business of stolen money came to light - finally she had something to use to take Lechepop down.

Gotta say “Storyboard artist and story editor of DuckTales (2017) are implicated in teen’s $7000 scam” is not what I had on my bingo card for fandom drama in 2020 but here we are.

I had no clue it was going to end up here either. 2020 has been wild y’all lol.

The same people who unsuccessfully tried to convince us del/pad is homophobic (its not) so that their ships (dell/umbra, drake/pad) would reign supreme are the same ones who successfully convinced us HDLxW was actually incest (its not) so that their ship (web/lena) could reign supreme, and I think its time we talked about it. All that trauma caused over a shipwar and they don't even care about w/l anymore because they weren't able to bully certain people out of the w/l fandom.

This is the perfect time to have this discussion! Since 2018 it has always been the same people who have caused drama with in this fandom, and in fact I have a strong inkling, that the huge issue,  that’s going on now is coming from that same group of people as well.

have you dipshits realized yet that if mick was as innocent as you guys say they are then they'd have at least defended themselves and would still be around? don't you find it at least a little bit suspicious that it took them almost two weeks to respond to severe theft allegations and that they never had a response in regards to their abuse and racism?

But what about any reply from the zines editor about it? 

You know the person who had about the same amount or even more pull regarding the zine than Lechepop did? absolute silence from them. 

Where was Frank and Sam commenting on anything about it, since they were major contributors toward that second volume? You would think they would of been concerned about what was going on.

Its just very very suspicious, that somehow some of the absolute minimal contributors, had all that dirty laundry and blackmail material, just waiting in the wings to drop at anytime. 

That is what gives Lechepop some benefit of the doubt about why that call out was made with no concern about where was the money.

honestly i feel like the fandom should be WAY more suspicious of the fact that frank and sam king (who was close personal friends with leche/pop) havent said a single thing about this, despite being very active in fandom and having promoted the zine, as well as the fact that id think frank would take issue with a fan having access to private information. that, coupled with the fact that the crew is giving a minor "special treatment" and them knowing them irl (likely knowing theyre a minor) is hm

The callout was not made in good faith. The inclusion of info about lechepop's mental health, exaggerating DT plot points and their phantom of the opera fanart (????) were unnecessary and show that this is ultimately petty friend drama. The whole thing comes from a group of the most toxic people in the fandom who would have probably covered for the money theft if lechepop had stayed on their good side. They're not good or honest people. Probably jealous of Mick's connections to the DT crew.
