Shao Khan, threatened by how powerful Drotìlea people were as magical beings made swift devastation of their original lands when they refused to aid his army in conquest as they were mostly peaceful.

Those who survived the onslaught fled into the deepest parts of the desert where very few could find them and there is where they secluded themselves and began rebuilding.

Many Drotìlea people seasonally migrate to and from small designated areas but there is a main "City", a large oasis known as "The Drip"

The natural enemy to Drotìlea are the Tarkatan, another race of cannibalistic desert nomads.

Because what is left of the race is basically in hiding, Drotìlea are rare and at high risk of being abducted for slave trading or other more nefarious situations (they make for good potions..if you know what I mean 😅) the price for one is astronomical.

While being real, Drotìlea history is often recited to children by parents of Outworld as if they were "Fairytales"

Distinguishing features often consist of abnormally colored hair and rainbow eyes.
