Our Department of Orthopaedic Oncology and Surgical Oncology in association with Telangana Orthopaedic Surgeons Society (TOSA) held an Orthopaedic Oncology Symposium, on 11th December 2022 under the able guidance of Our Medical Director, Dr. T. Subramanyeshwar Rao. It was presided over by leading Orthopaedic Oncology specialists from across India such as Prof. Ashish Gulia and IMSOS President – Dr. Mandip Shah. The meet was attended by Orthopaedic and Oncology specialists from across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The basics in Orthopaedic Oncology and the need for multidisciplinary management of Sarcomas were highlighted at the conference. Our Orthopaedic Oncology consultant Dr. Srinath Gupta discussed various limb salvage reconstruction options and their outcomes which were well received by all the delegates in attendance. Various panel discussions were conducted on the Management of benign and malignant bone tumors which were the highlight of the Conference.
