The Correct Rhythm of Tai Chi | Learn Tai Chi at Home | 100 Days of Tai Chi
Day Three. Just got back from an awesome Taiji session. Practice for me is often like swimming backwards through time - letting myself forget everything I've learned and think I know, letting myself be more and more unwritten until every feeling, every fingertip, every step feels brand new again. Where will I move next? I don't know. Am I making this up as I go along - or is there some distant memory in my body guiding me through this dance? Heading into the station in about 1/2 an hour. Today is the day we shoot the pledge show. I want to give a huge shout out to Lorraine Noval and all her students from Asian Arts Group in Albany. Apparently she is bringing a busload of people to be in the show! I am so looking forward to meeting everyone!!
T'ai Chi, Health and Happiness will air late November and early December 2012 during the pre-Christmas pledge drive. Call your local pbs station and tell them to carry our show!
The latest offering in the Urban T'ai Chi Adventures series. Here I am in the Huntington Beach library. I really love this place, but to me all the straight lines of the bookshelves, desks and beams were just crying out for coils and curves. Let me know what you think - and any ideas for where I should go next !
