The funny thing about Druid's Macbeth is that he's a sopping wet dog guy. He's pathetic enough to have been dunked in water but not independent enough to be a cat. He's such a wife guy to Lady M and so horrifically loyal to her that he is literally depicted crawling around in the muck monologing before going off to kill Duncan after she placed a dagger in his mouth because he's her attack dog doing her bidding. He's so tragic and pathetic and loyal that there is no better label for him that Sopping Wet Dog. It makes it all the worse when their power dynamic completely flips when he grows so incredibly erratic that he flip flops between absolutely desolate from guilt and hyper aggressive paranoia, almost always in scenes with just him and Lady M.
