Finland Chronicles: Ho Ho Ho🤶
The official pre-Christmas season in Finland is called “Pikkujoulukausi”, which could loosely be translated to “Little Christmas season”.
And as is tradition, many companies throw pikkujoulu parties for their staff as a thank you for the previous year, and yes you guessed it: tonight is ours! Wooooop! I´m SO effing ready, got my hair done and everything... 💇😵
Side note: my party dress was a fleamarket discovery which cost me a whopping 1 €... Shut up! I´m operating on a budget here! 👗 👠 💅
And I can finally wear the weirdest ring in my collection... 🙃
Anyways, this year my employer went all out and rented a massive venue (3000+ people are expected to attend... Ugh, humans... so many humans...) and the party will consist of a buffet-style dinner and an open bar (uh oh... 😱) followed by a concert. 🎊 💃 🥂
And so with that being said, I bid you all a nice Saturday evening as I am heading out the door as we speak for a night of (hopefully) loads of fun!
We shall meet later-ish, hopefully with no hangovers or regrets! 😘
