If you notice excess condensation forming on or around your heat pump dryer, it could be due to high humidity in the room. This allows more moisture to condense on the cooler external surfaces from the hot internal air. Be sure to wipe up any droplets to prevent mould growth.
Heat pump dryers are designed to reduce condensation through an internal condensation system. But very humid rooms can still cause external build-up that drips. Keeping the room at a decent temp helps since condensation forms when there’s a big gap between air and surface temps. So aim to reduce that gap by maintaining the room temp.
