Seagull catching / Dory & Bambi
Once upon a time there was a young sixteen year old fawn boy with eyes curious and wide and ever seeking to explore his every thought and whim. His father didn't particularly like how he went about his treasure seeking, his journey a little too far to the left side of sensitive and or child-like for a teenager that should be trying to step into manhood. He sent him away on a cruise ship school with his fingers crossed and eyes seeking a new boulevard of lights and dreams.
And that is exactly how he looked this day, standing on deck, with homemade very colorful jellyfishing seagull catching nets, one for him and one for the first friend he met on the ship. This new person's name was Dory and she was a pretty blonde girl that seemed to like the same silly ideas he did. But, she did instill a little fear in him about being pushed over the edge of the ship and he kept thinking of wanting to stand on the bow with his arms up like on the movie Titanic, but now he just stared at it thinking the vision of him would go from feeling like flying to actually flying right off the end and drowning. He had to shake that thought off. So there he was standing with nets made of pastel yarn and rulers and gazing up at the sky hoping to catch a glimpse of gulls while he waited for his new friend to arrive.
