I love Don't Starve ship names, most of them are like Maxwes (Maxwell + Wes), Willowfrid (Willow + Wigfrid), etc, but rarely you have really epic names like BEEFCAKE (Warly + Wolfgang) and LUMBERJACKED (Woodie + Wolfgang)
I always liked the dynamic of Charlow (Charlie X Willow), but the problem is that I couldn’t see how it could happen because I was convinced that Charlie was an entity and that she couldn’t interact with the others (aside from when it’s completely Darkness and she kills them). But with the Maxwell rework animation and the “Shadow Courtier” abilities, it proves that she CAN interact with them and even make deals with them and give them a buff.
Pretty sure that Willow will also have a Shadow Courtier ability when her Skill Tree update comes out. I will probably elaborate more content of them when it does, among all the ships I like with Willow, Charlow is probably my favorite!
My favorite Don’t Starve ships and platonic relationships dynamics are the ones that are based on meta-gaming
MaxWes and WolfWarly are so good because they are such a good pair in-game
Yes, Wickerbottom and WX would get along well because they are a very good duo, with Wickerbottom being able to energize WX when they want and completely stop the rain to not get them hurt
And we can’t forget Wendy and Webber, that are canonically besties, and also are make an insane duo in-game.
I know you're a big warlywood shipper but do you have any other ships with those two like Woodie x Wilson or something?
Hmmmm, other than Woodie x Lucy, I haven’t really considered those yet! (Mainly bc I haven’t really seen much shipping content involving those two, other than the occasional Warly x Wilson and aforementioned Woodie x Wilson as of recently)
Doesn’t mean I hate those ships or anything! They’re all good in their own way!
