12/25: Merry Magcharls :) Two drawings today because Withnail & I was my favourite movie for a long time.
12/29: For the last few days of the challenge, I'm re-drawing my own comic art to see how my style has changed :)
First up is a page from my old comic series Memento Moried, an AU where Magnus & Melmord are resurrected to work for Charles as klokateers. The context of this scene is: since his death, Magnus has been unable to remember most of his time with the revengencers, but after seeing Melmord's scars, he suddenly has a brief flashback to when he kept Toki captive.
12/30: I wanted to take another crack at this emulation of Dante and Virgil in Hell I originally drew for my comic (comic page + the painting this panel is based on both under the cut)
12/22: On to crossovers week, where I redraw screenshots but swap in my fave MTL characters because it amuses me & I can 🙃
I loved the new Frankenstein... and I think it’s fair to say after getting kicked out of the band, Magnus might regard Dethklok as an experiment that failed to meet his creative expectations, took on a life of its own, and rejected his control. Also, I would like to see Nathan throw Magnus across a room like an empty can of pringles.
12/23: I haven't seen Kill Bill in like 20 years.. I just wanted to draw Magnus in this outfit to be honest.
12/24: Happy Christmas Eve! Your gift this year is Magnus & Seth as these stylish guys from Fargo. If you are not a fan of MagSeth, be comforted by the fact that Seth at least ends up in a woodchipper I guess 😭
