Still playing around with Clip Studio, but I'm pretty close to being what I was able to do with Manga Studio. Bit of a learning curve but I'm ironing things out. Really digging that you can paint and covert that to half-tones in Clip Studio.
Stoked to be asked to do this poster for Floating World Comics presentation of BLADE at the Hollywood Theater in Portland, Or! I absolutely love BLADE! I got a great story about how I found out about it in 1998 lol
BLADE in 35MM Wed, Jan 24 at 7:30PM Hollywood Theatre 4122 NE Sandy Blvd
Quick paint on this Patreon big sketch reward for November, a Tsunami Kyubi from Cyberpunk 2077. I don't even use a chopper build but I do like the cynicism in the design philosophy here. 1 slot left on the big sketch tier, get your collection of my original work started in 2024! Links in the place where ya find em!
Hey brother, I know you lost your Instagram. Did you ever start a new one or it wasn’t worth the trouble.
Looking forward to Betamax arriving!
Gah! Finally getting to this, sorry!
Yeah, people can still pick up BETAMAX here https://www.crwnstudios.com/collections/don-austin-d-tron-studios
Pretty excited about doing DeCAF again this next Saturday! I'll have the BETAMAX book, prints, sketchcards, stickers, original art, and the Adult Swim tribute FCBD issues I have art in. If you're in Denver hit this thing up on May 18th!
Asked Cory about adding a color works section to WIRED ZEROS with the book mostly B&W. One option would be to just print the whole thing on a color press cause the machine don't care. I was like then shit I could just go fucking wild on some of the half-tone sections with color.
