I can't be the only one who sees Set as being a defender of the dead and their places of rest. I feel like as the husband to Nephthys & stepfather to Anubis, the dead and their resting places would be something he holds dear, although perhaps not within his circle influence. He loves Nephthys as well as Anubis so I don't think he'd take to kindly to someone fucking up their spaces or being disrespectful to the dead & mourning.

Prayer for Set

Dua Set, Lord of Storms I hear your powerful voice I hear you in the booming thunder In the torrent of the rain

I find you in grey clouds In the wind as you herald the storm I find you in the creak of the windshield wipers In the patter of the rain on the roof

In the smell of the rain The heaviness of the air I feel your energy, pent up And building

Filling the sky, Filling me Until a blinding flash Cuts the sky like a blade

I find you in gentler times  In the smell after a storm The water dripping from the trees In the coolness of the air

I find you in song, I sing along to the music, to the roaring wind I scream your name with the thunder I feel you smile

I spoke at an anti-racism rally today with my relatives for indigenous awareness, and I could feel Sutekh here among the crowd. I’m not one to do public speaking but I really felt the gods there. Dua!
