Did he seriously just try and pass all that off as being tired? Did Loz think he was some kind of idiot? His older brother was a mess, blood covering his body. Kadaj immediately stood up from where he had been sitting and watched his brother practically drag himself through the door towards the stairs. “Loz...” 

He’s ignored as his older brother is helped up the stairs by a shadow creeper that he’d apparently summoned. The younger remnant is hot on his heels, following him to his room. “Don’t feed me that bullshit. Look at yourself! You look like you went through a meat grinder.” He shut Loz’s door behind him, approaching the bed. “Do you need me to heal you?”

“I’m gonna kill him. I swear I’m going to kill him. He’s just so- Ugh!” She began to angrily pace back and forth in front of Loz, trying to put her anger into words but struggling to do so.

“Looooooooooz. Loz.” The younger Alpha giggled to herself when the remnant entered the room again. “You’re...you’re upside down.” Actually, she was the one upside down. She had managed to flip herself around on the couch so her legs were hooked over the back and her head was hanging down on the floor. “You gotta...you gotta flip yourself back around. That’s not...that’s not safe.”
