Today I got to thinking about how lucky I am that I get to help my shift and my department and the citizens that I serve by being dual trained! Is it more responsibility? Yes,but it's great being Police and paramedic because you're not just one dimensional. Before people get their panties in an up roar I'm not implying that it's bad being trained in only one field. I'm saying think about this! Never stop settling in what you do! If you're trained in one field be the best you can be! If you want to broaden your scope go for it! Why not! Always try to be the best you can be!
