As some of you may know, my sister is the human behind the Tumblr-entity of dubiousculturalartifact. She gets into polite arguments with actors (oh and also the showrunner of OUAT) who make thoughtless and deeply problematic comments, is a voice for autism awareness and queer representation in media, squees loudly about Supernatural, and has won a cosplay contest at a con as the one character on television who she feels truly represents her.
In order for her to feel comfortable expressing herself freely on teh interwebz, I do not follow her. She tells me about some of her successes and setbacks, and I nod and smile vaguely when she goes off about characters and plots I remain otherwise ignorant of. Sometimes I see things from her that her friends and followers reblog. Sometimes I don't even realize it's her. I carry on with my tiny Internet presence, reblogging fandom, history, and social justice stuff.
Now Tumblr has decided there's this blog I would really like. This is the second time in a week I've scrolled past "Here's a Blog:", and been met with macaw feathers.
I don't want to click the X yet because I'm interested to see how thoroughly Tumblr thinks we should be friends...don't worry sestra I didn't even really look at the second one except to note it was one about that Jody Mills ship you like (see I listen to you sometimes).
