And the book is probably the most political piece of literature I've read.... About climate change? THE LITERAL CHARACTER OF EVA STRATT? About science? About hope? About working together? About relationships?

I quite literally read the whole thing going "wow I love how he wrote politics in this"

Get outta here and this BS about how "Art must be non-political" to be good. No actually, creating art is the very act of being political.

right? maybe it’s a just weird new england quirk but we honestly can’t think of any time we heard ppl say that when they weren’t being kind of aggressive/pre-aggressive. unless they’re talking to children. we have heard children called buddy or pal or whatever and it’s perfectly friendly. but outside of that... you really don’t hear it much up here?
