All I want is a season 3 of Loki where it’s just the gang getting into silly situations and being dumb and not having to save the multiverse. okay so anyways, we all know how obsessed CC is with jace and incest so here’s the hot gossip: clary gets sexually assaulted by Jonathan and her feelings and just in general how it fucking affects her is NEVER taken into consideration. it jumps to jace and how he feels. so if you think it was cold and weird in the show when Jonathan kisses clary when she thinks it’s jace and jace is like “ok i guess ill go” because he touched her and clary felt uncomfortable (as she should! she was violated!) and clary says no stay, yeah that was not as bad as the books. this is another reason why i hate TMI books. everything is centered on jace 24/7. even people who don’t like him are constantly taking and thinking about him.

I genuinely think that when CC wrote TMI, she just envisioned everyone obsessing over Jace. it’s really weird because she probably was in her thirties writing about a teen boy and crushing on him so hard. MA’AM HE IS A TEENAGE FUCKING BOY!!! 🗣️ the self insert is INSANE. I get loving characters but writing 20 books about a teenage boy who has zero improvement or development? yeah that shit is crazy. get you a therapist asap. I know you can afford it.

this is also why I will never argue with book fans. I don’t care what your take is. the books will always be terrible to me. if you like the books, congrats but stay the fuck away from me and my blog. I have worked way too hard to make this a safe place for people who are like me. people literally feel scared to voice their opinions because of how insane and intense book fans are. they treat CC as some god who can do no wrong and it’s actually terrifying.

I went in the wrong direction but this is another reason why I’ll say “yeah so show jace is awful but it’s nothing compared to his book counterpart”. show Jace is irritating but book jace is abusive, inconsiderate, toxic, just plain evil and vile and he CANNOT be redeemed. I think there was a time in season two, he could’ve used some growth. I hate jace but I will gladly take show Jace over book Jace any fucking day
