I was playing around with @dukesnukes's DoomGuy Trinity the other day;

It’s already established that Sarge is the OG Doomguy. First two games are this guy. Sarge ends up trapped in hell committing endless carnage on demonkind and never comes home to earth.

As an adult the second (unnamed) Doomguy goes to look for his dad. Finds Argent D'Nur. ‘Settles down’ with a nice Argenta man and has a kid, which will be 'Buddy'. Meaning Buddy is half human/half Argenta and is raised as a native to Argenta culture.

Sarge shows up on an Argenta controlled planet eventually, which leads the Argenta into the demonic conflict. Which draws the attention of the Makyrs as the Argenta are a badass species ripe for demonic influence.

Buddy grows up around the demonic conflict. Eventually loses dad and grampa!Sarge in battle. Seeking justice for his family he accepts Samur's offer to enter the Divinity Machine. Doom 2016 and Eternal occur pretty much the same.

Also the family crest is a rampant hare because Daisy has to be here somewhere.
