Lively Blog - Day 1

I am starting a new category of blog that I call the 'Lively Blog' because "Life Blog" sounds way too intense as if I will be documenting everything and also "Daily Blog" is just too intense and I forget, which would make me feel bad. Now that the Introduction is out of the way here is today's story!

A few days ago or maybe yesterday, I can't remember, I was in 2nd period which is my Marketing class and we started working on our finals project which is to create a new company and product with the end goal of selling it to the investors ( our peers / classmates ).

I was coming up with what seemed to me, awesome ideas, such as a Caffeine Lotion, or a Scentless Spray that deodorizes a whole room without ANY scent! But both of my teammates are all like "hmm...yeah...maybe..." and both being incredibly indecisive ( which I don't blame them because I am too ) but then... one girl says "Hmm should we just ask Chat?" (referring to ChatGPT) and the other girl responds saying "Yeah, totally, I can't think of any good ideas..." as if neither of them even considered my pitches, which I received no feedback or further comments on besides "mhmm...maybe...hmm".

Why would you use AI to pump out slop for your FINALS???? Do you guys not care about learning to be creative? I was having a great time coming up with ideas. I understand that there are some people who are just less creative than others or it takes a lot more effort but still, using AI for creative schoolwork is absolutely insane to me and I am still angry thinking about it. And if you guys were wondering, the product is called HydraBand and it is a sweatband that tracks how much your sweating and how much water you drink to keep you hydrated.

Idk, your guys' thoughts on this??? Let me know.

now no matter how much my teachers yell, take things away, or even punish me specifically i will ALWAYS choose to be loud and dumb with the dumb and funny ones because being loud and dumb with 4 people i barely know is awsome and no one can convince me other wise.

My classmates said this and almost collectively agreed that learning abt the history would be useless. But they would not know shit if we didn't do research on our unit right now I'm like the only one who genuinely likes learning about the movements we learn about (atm it's the Harlem renaissance)

Class Etiquette and Social Cues

Humans are social creatures. We interact con.stant.ly. Why, then, are some people so horrible at being social? And I don't mean not liking social interaction or being an introvert. I mean people who just cannot pick up on social cues. Hahah This leads directly into classroom etiquette. If your fellow students and professor are having a very lively, scholarly discussion, there is no need for your damn side remarks. Commentary is only valued if it's relevant. Tangents do not add to the conversation...that's why we call them tangents. It completely BLOWS my mind when people just add the most irrelevant and beyond-extra comments. What are you trying to prove?! Like....we're all college students! How did you get this far in life?! It's so good to be back on that school grind.
