So I decided to try a new type of Nuzlocke of my own creation.

I am playing on a random Red game, and I've decided that I am only going to keep 2 pokemon on me throughout the game. Whenever one dies, I will have to immediately catch another pokemon to replace it, but otherwise, I will only use 2 pokemon in my party the whole time.

I started with a Togepi, which I named Shane. My rival chose Kabutops. Shane, managed to win against him after metronoming into transform with just 1 HP left before the winning blow was struck.

I realized (after running through route 1 as fast as I could, wary of metronome and it's uncanny ability to bring my adventure to a halt at any time due to explosion and self destruct) that Shane was holding a TM for shockwave, which it now knows. Accompanying it now is a Spearow named Stephon.

Here is a picture of the happy couple now. What lies ahead for them? Will their bond of brotherhood be tested by what lies ahead? We shall see.
