Inside and Out
Indoor/outdoor rugs go everywhere with ease. Stain-resistant, a breeze to clean (just spray with a hose!) and durable enough for patio parties and busy entryways alike, these low-maintenance style superheroes add a bit of softness to outdoor spaces and carefree vibes to indoor areas. Yes, their name says it all, but just in case you need a little inspiration, here are a few of our favorite places to use all-weather rugs in and around the house.
1. Kitchen: The one place in the home where it's technically okay to spill a thing or two, the kitchen is a busy room in need of a rug or two. Use a rug in front of the sink or stove or add a runner with a striking design to spice things up.
2. Hallways/Entryways: Whether you have kids at home or are always entertaining guests, most dirt is collected in these high-traffic areas. Adding an indoor/outdoor rug in a hallway or entrance is the perfect way to stop dirt and dust from being tracked through the house while adding a little softness underfoot.
3. Deck/Patio: During warmer months, outdoor spaces become extensions of our living rooms, so why not dress them up? Using an indoor/outdoor rug on a deck or patio brings a little life to drab pavers and concrete and makes lounging outside a little more comfy on your feet. Most also dry quickly and resist fading, maintaining their good looks come rain or shine.
4. Craft Spaces/Playrooms: When you're in the crafting zone or the kids are playing hard, it's easy for things to get a little messy. Try rolling out an all-weather rug (bonus points if it's fun and/or vibrantly colored) to catch spills and provide a touch of comfort.
We love these go-everywhere rugs because they're functional for the home and come in great patterns and colors, too. They also won't break the bank, making it fun and simple to bring on-trend style to any space.
