Yesterday..
It was pretty amazing. Got a lot of projects done at my internship and learned a lot about researchers and just the society in general. It been an amazing experience so far. I remember the first day and I'm already halfway through the program. It's crazy ow fast time has been going by. I'll be really sad when I have to leave. All of the other interns are really great and fun to work with and hang out with. I met Enric Sala yesterday and he was super nice after this awesome woman, Christy, introduced me to him. He's an awesome explorer working on the Pristine Seas project. I have a lot more projects to do and still a lot to learn. After work, I went home and got ready to go to Philadelphia. We ended up getting a rental car later then we were supposed to and I didn't even know if we were going to actually go anymore. We did and it was awesome. Listening to 90s music in the car and taking a road trip there was definitely something I needed to do. We got to the venue for the Sound of Tomorrow Festival and it was a blast. Danced the night away to 90s hip hop with really sick beats was super laid back. It was a relaxed and intimate event. I had a lot of fun. We ended up going to a small bar and then drove to get some legendary Philly Cheese Steaks from Pat's. They were so good. Drove back and knocked out on the road home. It was a great day. (3.27.2015)
