I'm already reading in preparation for my dissertation and today I started reading this book I got from world of books that has the previous owner's annotations in it.
I find it interesting how I'm reading the same book as someone else yet I'm highlighting and making notes on different parts than them. Probably because we're reading for different purposes/with different intentions.

I got a wee darning loom the other day and patched up a hole in my sister’s sock!

How have I already reached the stage in life where I'm sat sewing and I have a cat sitting watching me 😭😭😭.
I was sat fixing the pocket of a jacket and one of my sister's cats walks over and sits to watch me sew.
I bought world of goo 2 and the soundtrack I'm so excited to play!!
I am not immune to the allure of jellycats and may have bought a baby octopus…
Lol I did a litter pick and helped tidy up my community and I got 4 bags of rubbish just by going around a few streets
I got my septum pierced for free today :D I didn't even realise it was international women's day when I booked for this day lol. Idk why I just thought it was funny I got pierced on this day.
I got it done for free cause my piercer has some new needles and was wanting to try them out and try new techniques for some piercings. I was the first person she pierced using the free hand technique. She thanked me a bunch for trusting her. She's been my piercer for years now and I've had no issues with any of my piercings and has been piercing for around 10 years so I had no reasons to not trust her.
I was expecting to have to at least pay for the jewellery but since I was fine with the basic and plain jewellery I didn't have to pay at all for the piercing. She explained it was only for the fancier and more expensive jewellery.
How I felt after being told I'm tough as nails:
I can't wait for people to start going on about septum ring/nose ring theory
