Hi! Do you have any current favorite songs, or song recommendations?

Ok, with this I’m gonna trigger that anon who loves telling me how my taste in music is shitty ahah I don’t care, I’ll just open my tiny heart.

First, just let me tell you that Italian summer music is made of dozens of songs which all look and sound alike: they’re designed to make you dance along to some random Latinoamerican beat, which I’ve got nothing against because in summer I love switching my brain off, but I'm aware that 95% of those songs will be completely forgotten in about a month. So, let’s move abroad with something still cheap but slightly different from what you could find on Youtube Playlists as “Italian summer music”. ATM I'm loving Rauw Alejandro's Todo de ti.

Every time I'm watching the videoclip I dream of being part of that rollerblade dance-off ahahah It is so late-90s!

Moving on, in summer I love listening to Spanish songs and language: Dvicio always helps me out with this passion with a lot of their songs from the last years.

Then, a couple of blasts from -my- past:

Driving on the highway, coming back from my vacation, you should have seen me screaming te envío poemas de mi puño y letra, te envío canciones de cuatro cuarenta, from this obsession of mine from ten years ago or so (yeah, sometimes I enter a full James Van der Beek at Dancing with the stars mode… I should really enroll in some kind of dance classes to unleash the beast) ahahahah

And this one by lady Anggun which is simply lovely, perfect to drive under the Tuscan sun like Diane Lane and Raoul Bova.

To end this, let me leave with one Italian song, to see if I’m the only one here who can’t get out of his head that “TU MI FAI IMPAZZI-I-I-I-I-REEEE” (and this is an example of Italian summer song that stays away from the dance area I was talking about at the beginning of the post).
